Ash Wednesday is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2nd. We invite you to participate in our Ash Wednesday service tomorrow at Heritage in the sanctuary at 6:30 pm.

What is Ash Wednesday? It marks the beginning of Lent and a season of 40 days leading to Jesus’ death and culminating with his resurrection. It is a day where churches worldwide reflect upon the reality that everyone is “dust and to dust we shall return.” Many mark this moment by getting a sign of the cross with ashes upon their forehead and beginning a prolonged fast to make space for prayer.
