Chili
Ingredients
- 1- 12oz can black beans
- 1- 12 oz can kidney beans (dark)
- 1- 12 oz can pinto beans
- 1- 12 oz can tomato paste
- 1- ripe tomato
- 1- yellow onion
- 1- red bell pepper
- 1- poblano pepper
- 1- 1 stalk green onion
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mild cheddar cheese
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp dark brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat slow cooker
- Rinse and dice tomato, onion, red pepper, and poblano pepper
- Pour pinto beans, red beans, black beans (and their juices), tomato paste and water into slow cooker and stir
- Add black pepper, chili powder, smoked paprika, onion salt, garlic salt, and brown sugar and stir
- Cook 4-6 hours in slow cooker (high)
- Top with sour cream, cheese and green onion
